For Pettus Builders

An honest, effortless way to run construction projects.

One radically simple place for the three things that actually matter — live budget, change orders, and schedule — with a calm, transparent window for your clients. Nothing else.

The app is live for the Pettus pilot. The demo stays safe to click around freely.

The idea

Do three things beautifully — and deliberately refuse the rest.

Builders today are stuck between tools that are too much (JobTread, Buildertrend, Procore — powerful but a maze of modules) and tools that are too empty(Monday.com — a blank canvas you have to rig into construction software yourself). Both leave the real state of a project living in spreadsheets, texts, and people's heads.

Trueline is the disciplined middle: a live budget that tracks committed and actual cost against your number, a change-order flow that reconciles into the budget and QuickBooks in one step, and a light schedule anyone can read. Learnable in an afternoon, and genuinely nice to look at.

Three lenses, one truth

Everyone sees the same honest project — through the right lens for their role.
● Owner

The whole portfolio

Every project at a glance — margin health, budget variance, change-order value, schedule slippage, and cash. See which job needs you this week in five seconds.

e.g. Gary
● Project manager

Just my jobs

Only the projects assigned to you — the live budget, the change orders in flight, and the schedule to keep on track. No noise from other jobs.

e.g. a Pettus PM
● Client

My build, made calm

A beautiful, plain-language view of budget status, every change order and its cost, the timeline, and weekly photos — with your internal costs and margin never shown.

e.g. the homeowner

Try all three lenses in the demo
